Part 1: STOP LOOK LISTEN
Time-based, rule-based mark-making

Using attention, repetition, and mark-making to explore time and memory, I set my smartphone timer to go off every hour throughout the day for five days. At the sound of it, I would stop whatever I was doing and note what was in my visual and auditory fields. Then I would make a mark in my smartphone app. A curated selection of those marks is presented here.
